Global Home Exchange and Global Pacific Vacation Homes may only be used for individual home exchange or vacation rental purposes. Users of Global agree not to contact Global members for any other purpose than to inquire about or to arrange a personal home exchange, bed and breakfast or vacation rental. Anyone that contacts Global members for any other purpose than to arrange a home exchange, Bbetween themselves and a Global listing member is deemed to be advertising. Examples of misuse is to, but not limited only to the following examples: inviting or directing Global members to visit and or join another website, home exchange, hospitality or vacation rental service, whether offering free services or charging a fee, donation or credit is advertising. Our advertising rate for blatant misuse is $ 200 per listing contacted. All listings posted on the Global web site are the sole intellectual property of Global Home Exchange or our affiliate home exchange club partners and may not under any circumstances be posted on another web site other than our affiliate partners, or in any other media for any purposes. Any offenders agree that by posting Global's listing information on another web site for any purposes will be subject to a fee starting at, but not limited to $ 200 US per listing. By using the Global website, you agree that any home exchange, B&B or rental transaction you arrange is between you and the other party. You agree that neither Global nor any of its affiliate partners bear any responsibility for the arrangement and it's completely up to you to find the right partner.

Purpose Specification and Data CollectionWhen you visit our website and access information, you remain anonymous. You can access our web site home pages and browse our site without disclosing personal data.
We do not collect the personal data that you volunteer on surveys, competitions, or other forms, or by email. As with any organization, we store our members names, address, phone number, email and listing data including when the listing expires. We do not store credit card information.
CookiesA cookie is a very small piece of information that tells a Web site you have been there before. Global uses cookies so that members can access the members only edit feature. Individual Participation/AccessYou can ask us, by sending an email to whether we are keeping personal data about you. We will endeavor to reply to your request within a week; any such reply will be at no charge to you. Before sending you any personal data, you will asked to provide evidence of your identity. Should you not provide evidence of your identity, we would reserve the right to refuse to provide you with the personal data. SecurityWe have implemented technology and security policies, rules and measures to protect the personal data that we have under our control from unauthorized access, improper use, alteration, unlawful or accidental destruction and accidental loss. All inquiries are filtered by Global prior to delivery to Global members. Most inquiries pass through our filter and arrive in our members email instantly. The filtering system monitors select spam keywords and sends suspect inquiries to Global for monitoring before our listing members receive the suspect inquiry. All inquiries may be monitored by Global staff members and offending email addresses and ISP's will be blocked from using Global. Despite Global's filtering efforts, it is possible that some SPAM inquiries will be delivered anyway. It is also possible that some non-SPAM inquiries may not be delivered as a result of Global filtering efforts.
