Build a castle of your own, have your face painted, or simply stroll down the beach collecting sand dollars. Parksville is 92 miles north of Victoria on Highway 19 or about a leisurely 20 minute drive from Nanaimo. Commercial airlines fly into Nanaimo, south of Parksville and Qualicum Beach about 10 minutes drive to the north.. BC Ferries depart from Tsawwassen and Horseshoe ferry terminals in Vancouver, and dock in Nanaimo.
