Now if you have 3 children you likely wouldn't swap homes with a single person in a one bedroom apartment. So be practical. We have a child and have swapped homes a number of times with couples without children who offered us their home with 3 or more bedrooms. There are certainly advantages to swapping homes with other families who have children, Children of all ages enjoy having a whole new set of toys, books, computer games and videos to occupy them while their parents relax in the comfort of a home. If you're traveling with small children, you might consider the convenience of not having to pack cribs, strollers, playpens and car seats. However, a home exchange is such a practical family idea that you do not need to swap with other families who have children to enjoy your experience.
