Does a family with children needs to swap homes with other families with children. Of course not! Now if you have 3 children you likely wouldn't swap homes with a single person in a one bedroom apartment. So be practical. We have a child and have swapped homes a number of times with couples without children who offered us their home with 3 or more bedrooms.

There are certainly advantages to swapping homes with other families who have children, Children of all ages enjoy having a whole new set of toys, books, computer games and videos to occupy them while their parents relax in the comfort of a home.
