Is there a service that will arrange a home exchange for me?

Why don't home exchange agencies offer a service to arrange home exchange for you?

Home Exchange agencies are advertising services.  They list your home, advertise it on their site and market your home trade for a vacation around the globe. Some advertise your home for a fee ranging from around $30 to well over $200 for a one year listing.  Almost all home exchange services offer "do it yourself"  home exchange.  That is, you arrange to swap homes for vacations yourself.  Why?  Because how swapping is a personable experience.  Home swappers want input in whose home they will be staying along with who will be staying in their home. Besides, most people enjoy planning their own vacation.  There is an excitement in listing your home and sending out inquiries.  

A few years ago a few agencies based in France offered a find for a fee home exchange service.  They charged a $300 hiring fee and additional $150 finders fee.  All contact between the home exchange partners was through the agency and emails/phone numbers were not released until after the fees were paid.  An expensive way to find an exchange.  What wasn't said - after you paid your initial hiring fee of $300,  these agencies placed the listing on other home exchange clubs perhaps at a cost to them of $29  and found the partner in that club for their high fee paying customer.
