Do you just send one inquiry at a time or mass contact? If you send out mass inquiries, please keep track
of which listings you contacted and with which organization. When I
reply to a home exchange offer from someone's inquiry to my listing, it
is disheartening to receive a reply saying, "Please remind me of
your city, listing number and home exchange club." When you receive a positive response to your
home exchange inquiry don't assume the home exchange is a done deal.
Families or individuals decide if the proposed dates for an exchange
meet their needs. Also considered are the number of bedrooms you and
your exchange partners can comfortably sleep. Once this is
established, there is the confirmation stage to negotiate the details.
