About Global Home Exchange
Global is a international home exchange service located on Vancouver Island British Columbia Canada. We are a family network of house swap services owned and operated by home exchange enthusiasts with a total of 17 years service in the vacation home business. Our own exchange experiences include a longer term, one year swap and 18 shorter term, weekend swaps and hospitality exchanges lasting from 2 days to four weeks. Global was established in 1998 as a teacher exchange site. We provided opportunities for teachers that wished to exchange teaching jobs, houses and perhaps vehicles with other educators from around the world. In 2000 we expanded Global to include home exchange.
Our Hub site at 4homex.com, the one you are currently on, features information and links to listings for home exchange and vacation rentals. Global Pacific Vacation Homes is Global's home exchange database. Home exchange listings, advanced search features and our members area are all located on Global Pacific. Global also works cooperatively with several other home exchange clubs to increase your home exchange opportunities. Global members can choose a listing that includes membership with 5 international home exchange clubs. Members from other clubs have opportunities to list their home on Global as part of our multi club agreement. We support community services that help children with special needs, an outreach to seniors to reconnect them to the community and a service that assists young married couples. Global members come from a variety of age groups including seniors, singles, young families and couples. We warmly welcome you to explore Global and be part of a growing community or home exchangers.
