About Global Home Exchange
Global is a world-wide home exchange and vacation rental service located on Vancouver Island British Columbia Canada. Global Home Exchange and our family network of house swap services is owned and operated by home exchange enthusiasts with a total of 14 years service in the vacation home business. Our own exchange experiences include a longer term, one year swap and 17 shorter term, weekend swaps and hospitality exchanges lasting from 2 days to four weeks. Global was established in 1993 as a teacher exchange site. We provided opportunities for teachers that wished to exchange teaching jobs, houses and perhaps vehicles with other educators from around the world. In 1998 we expanded our site to include home exchanges and in 2002 further expanded to include vacation rentals. Our vacation home rental service is worldwide with our most popular vacation rental offerings from BC, Canada and the USA. Global is a family based home exchange, vacation rental and bed and breakfast accommodation service. Global supports community services that help children with special needs, an outreach to seniors to reconnect them to the community and a service that assists young married couples.
