BC  Regions 

Vancouver and lower mainland   The Vancouver and Lower Mainland is the name that residents of British Columbia apply to the region surrounding the City of Vancouver and the Fraser Valley Chilliwack  Vancouver is the largest city in the province of British Columbia. It's surrounded by water on three sides and is nestled alongside the Coast Mountain Range.  Vancouver is home to spectacular natural scenery and a bustling metropolitan core, and boasts one of the mildest climates in Canada.  Whistler  is a world  renowned ski resort north of Vancouver.

Vancouver Island   Vancouver Island is nestled along the south-western coast of British Columbia,  Roughly the size of the Netherlands, Vancouver Island is home spectacular scenery, out door recreation and British Columbia's capital city; Victoria. Famous for both its historic buildings and Inner Harbour, no trip to the island is complete without visiting the Victoria region. Explore Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands including Victoria, Sidney, Sooke, Shawnigan Lake, and north to Duncan and the Cowichan Valley, 

The central island communities of Nanaimo, Campbell River, Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Bowser and Comox Valley offer spectacular ocean and mountain views.  

The western side of Vancouver Island offers  Port Alberni, Sproat Lake and the west coast Pacific Rim communities of Tofino and Ucluelet.

Okanagan Valley  The Okanagan Valley is renowned for its moderate climate and mountain, lake, and desert terrain. The region is also famous for its abundance of freshly-grown fruit—juicy Okanagan apples, grapes cherries, peaches or pears. Where else in the world could you ski, play a round of golf, horseback ride, tour a historic site and visit a winery all in one day?  BC's Okanagan is famous for its orchards, vineyards and wildly varied landscape.  Visit the cities of Kelowna, Vernon, Penticton or explore Canada's only desert near Osoyoos. Ski at Big White or in the Sun Peaks resort near the city of Kamloops.

Okanagan Lake, home of Ogopogo, is the largest lake in the region and located close to the centre of the Okanagan Valley. The sandy beaches invite beachcombers, hikers, sunbathers and swimmers, while the bright blue waters draw water skiers and wind surfers. Okanagan Lake is an excellent family fun location.  Just north of the Okanagan Valley is the Shuswap Lake area with the communities of Salmon Arm, Canoe Sorrento and Sicamous.

Central BC  The Central BC region is large and diverse. The western side of this Central BC region is dominated by rain forests and the Cascade Mountain range.  Further inland the region changes to plains and grasslands of the Central BC plateau, with towns such as Williams Lake, 100 Mile House and Quesnel, attracting visitors with the incredible options they can offer for outdoor enthusiasts.  Historical towns such as Barkerville invite visitors to explore BC's mining past

Northern  BC   This is a vast area for outdoor enthusiasts and explorers.  Northern BC stretches from the Pacific Ocean and the Port of Prince Rupert, to the spectacular scenery around Smithers and the modern city of Prince George to the oil and natural gas areas around Fort St. John and Dawson Creek With an abundance of wild life from Grizzly & Black Bears, Bison, Moose and Orca Whales Northern BC is the best places on earth for wildlife viewing.
